Facebook allows you to show the post you once hid back to your profile. In addition to unhiding your own post, it also lets you unhide someone else’s post. When you mistakenly hide a post from your feed, you can simply tap the undo button to unhide it. However, unhiding your own post from your timeline might get tricky.
You can unhide your own posts in both the web and mobile application versions of Facebook.
On PC
- Open Facebook on your web browser.
- Click on your Profile in the top right corner and click your Username.
- Click the three dots icon on your profile.
- Select the Activity Log option.
- Click on Your Post on the left menu.
- Navigate to the post you want to unhide and click the three dots icon beside it.
- Select Add to Profile.
On Mobile
- Open Facebook.
- Tap on your Profile Picture beside the “what’s on your mind?” bar at the top of your home page.
- Tap on the three dots beside the Edit profile option.
- Tap on the Activity log.
- Scroll down to Your Post and tap Manage your Post below it.
- Navigate to the post you want to unhide and tap the three dots on its top right.
- Select the Add to Profile option.
How to Unhide Posts on Facebook Page?
If you wish to unhide posts from a Facebook page, you can use the web and mobile version of the Facebook app.
On PC
- Open Facebook and go to your Page account.
- Click on your Page Profile in the top right.
- Click on the three dots below the Edit option.
- Select the Activity Log option.
- Click the Filter option on the top right of the left menu.
- Under Categories, click on Activity Log.
- Click Save Changes.
- Navigate to the Post you want to unhide and place your cursor on it.
- Click the three dot icon beside it.
- Select the Add to Page option.
On Mobile
- Open Facebook and go to your Page.
- Go to your Profile page.
- Tap on the three dots beside the Edit Profile option.
- Select Activity Log on the menu.
- Tap on the Manage your Post option below Your Post section.
- Navigate to the Post you wish to unhide.
- Press the three dots icon on its right.
- Select the Add to Page option.
