Besides surfing videos on YouTube, you can also upload videos, create a channel, stream, and so on. Additionally, you can also make a playlist of your favorite videos for quick access, which you can share with anyone you desire.
Likewise, you also have the option to let others collaborate with the playlist you make. In this article, you will discuss methods to share different kinds of playlists.
How to Share My Own Playlist on YouTube?
When you click the share option below the video from the playlist, it will only send the link to that one video, not the entire playlist. Here’s how you can easily share your YouTube playlist in a few simple steps on your phone and your PC.
On Phone
The following method is the same for both iPhone and Android. These steps also apply to the website version of YouTube on mobile phones.
- Launch YouTube.
- Go to the Library tab.
- Under the Playlist section, tap the Playlist you want to share.
- Tap the Share icon right above the Play All/Shuffle button.
- Either directly send it through socials, mail, or text, or copy the link and paste it to the recipient.
On PC
- Open YouTube on your web browser.
- Click the three horizontal lines on the top left and click on Library.
- Scroll down and select the Playlist you wish to share.
- Click the View Full playlist option below the video.
- Select the URL Address by pressing Ctrl + A keys and hit Ctrl and C keys to copy the link.
- Now, go to the receiver’s text, mail or socials and paste it by pressing Ctrl + V.

On PC
- Open YouTube.
- Tap the three horizontal lines on the top left.
- Click on Library and scroll down to the Playlist section.
- Search for the private/unlisted playlist you wish to make public and click the View Full Playlist option below it.
- On the playlist thumbnail tab, click on the Private/Unlisted option.
- Select the Public option on the dropdown menu.
On Phone
- Launch YouTube.
- Go to Library and scroll down to the private/unlisted playlist.
- Open the Playlist.
- Tap the Pencil icon to edit it.
