    How to Remove Videos From Facebook

    From deleting a video you’ve just posted to locating and deleting a video you posted months prior, there are several ways you can remove videos from Facebook.

    Through the Post

    You can swiftly delete a particular video through the menu option on the right of the post. You can remove the content by following these steps: 

    On PC

    1. Click the horizontal three-dot menu on the right of your post.
    2. Select the last option, “Move To Trash.”

    On Android

    1. Select the horizontal three-dot menu next to the video on your post.
    2. Select “Move to Trash.”

    On iOS

    1. Select the horizontal three-dot menu next to your video.
    2. Select “Delete.”
    3. Confirm the action by selecting “Delete Post” on the dialog box that appears.

    Using Activity Log

    If you’re having trouble locating the video you want to remove, you can easily look for it in your Activity Log. You can then process to delete it from there. 

    On PC

    1. Open your browser.
    2. On the search engine, type www.facebook.com and log in to your account.
    3. Open your profile and select the horizontal three-dot menu 
    4. Select “Activity Log”
    5. On the left of your screen, select “Your Posts.”
    6. Locate the video you want to delete. If you want to delete multiple videos, select them by checking the box next to them.
    7. Tap on three horizontal dots and select “Move to Trash.”

    On Android

    1. Open the Facebook application on your phone.
    2. Open your profile and select the horizontal three-dot menu.
    3. Open “Activity Log”
    4. Locate “Your Posts” and select “Manage your Posts.”
    5. Locate the video you want to delete. If you want to delete multiple videos, select them by checking the box next to them and tap on “Trash.”

    1. Open the Facebook application on your phone.
    2. Open your profile and select the horizontal three-dot menu.
    3. Open “Activity Log.”

    5. Locate the video you want to remove and select it.
    6. Delete the video from the post after being directed to it.

    Delete Videos Sent on Messenger

    Facebook uses Messenger as its official messaging service. To delete a video sent to another user in the form of a message, follow these steps: 

    On PC

    1. Open your browser.
    2. On the search bar, type www.messenger.com and log in using your Facebook credentials.
    3. Open the chat with the user you want to delete a video from.
    4. Hover over the video until the horizontal three-dot menu is revealed, and then select “Remove.”

    6. If you wish for nobody to see it, select “Unsend for everyone.”

    On Android

    1. Open the Messenger application on your phone. 
    2. Open the conversation with the video you want to delete.
    3. Long press on the video until the menu is revealed. 
    4. Tap on the More option in the bottom right corner.
    5. Select “Remove”

    1. Open the Messenger application on your phone. 
    2. Open the conversation with the video you want to delete.

    4. Select “More..” and then tap on “Unsend.”
    5. If you want to delete it for yourself, select “Unsend for you.”
    6. If you want neither you nor the recipient to see it, select “Unsend for everyone.”
